Moehau Hodges-Tai

Moehau has iwi affiliations with Ngāti Pāhauwera, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Hauā, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Tūwharetoa and Ngāti Wai.

His work experience has included working for South Pacific Pictures, NZ Herald and NZME (New Zealand Media and Entertainment). He has free-lanced in big budget film productions, advertisements, music video clips, and TV shows working for a range of production companies. He is currently an Executive Producer for Māori TV specialising in online news and news programming. He has over 10 years' experience in film making, editing, journalism, and social media.

Moehau graduated from the University of Waikato with a First Class Honours in Digital Cinema. He also completed his Bachelor of Media & Creative Technology double majoring in Te Reo Māori and Screen Media.

Moehau is passionate about increasing visibility of Te Ao Māori and normalising Māori content in the media. He also has an overall passion about politics, especially those that impact directly on Māori.
